Challenge Drabble #14--Missing Person
The final requested drabble. Phew! That was fun and seemed to have helped get my writing back on track.

For [info]redwolfoz, Faith and Tara. One of those dinky, glittery, little girl, fairy wands. That was a tricky one, but here goes. I kind of cheated on the Tara part, since she doesn't actually appear, but she's an important part of it anyway.

Title: Missing Person
Set: sometime late S7

As B took the girls outside to train, Faith looked around inside. The house hadn’t changed, but the people in it sure had. Tension in the group was thick, and after being locked up with a bunch of women, Faith knew tension.

She didn’t realize who was missing until she looked in Willow’s room. Sticking out of a half-open drawer was a little girl’s glittery, pink fairy wand. It was too frilly for Willow, but seemed to fit perfectly with girl she’d been dating way back.

As she walked away, Faith idly wondered if the Hellmouth had claimed another victim.

lol I loved it, except for the dead Tara part.

I think Tara's absense was really felt in S7. Her calm presence would've made such a difference. And it would've kept us from Kennedy. ;-)

Site finally rebuild and content backlog caught up on, so: Archived!

The writing for season seven sucked across the board and it was stupid of the writers to only highlight a single Potential over the season instead of several. I have to wonder if Kennedy would have been less annoying over time or if the writers had a clue.

Thank you! That request kicked my ass! But when I finally stopped concentrating on Tara and fitting them in the same room, it worked. :-)

I couldn't come up with anything happy to write between Faith and Tara. It was either going to mean and scary or sad. I chose sad. ;-)
